Lacrosse Magazine You make the call season 4 is up
If you haven’t seen Lacrosse Magazine’s “you make the call” series, it’s worth checking out. Season 4 just came out today.
Rule clarification for 4.15 from Randy
Important. Be sure to read Randy’s latest update on rule 4.15
In short, only a ball intentionally directed towards a player in the defensive half triggers a “get it in” call. A flubbed pass, kicked ball intended for another player or bounced shot will not trigger “get it in”. This is a more generous interpretation than what was stated at the meeting. Be sure to read the entire post before showing up at your first game.
Minnechaug scrimmage canceled
From Craig: I was just advised that the Minnechaug scrimmage for 3:30 today has been cancelled. As a result no training opportunity. There is a scrimmage at Wilbraham Monson tomorrow at 3:30 and new officials are welcome to attend.
Also from Craig: If you have not already done so, and a number of you haven’t, please accept the initial assignments whenever possible and decline the balance, if any, but please act as soon as possible.
Call your partner
From Craig: As we begin the season, please make it a practice to call your partner at least a day before each assigned game. This is particularly important early in the season as assignments are being finalized. Thank you.
Holyoke Catholic

Clarification
Another clarification has been posted here. This clarifies the meaning of the words “intentionally propels” as applied to rule 4.15.
