1)  Face Offs – NFHS and NCAA – We are saying, “DOWN”, “SET”, then Whistle for all faceoffs.
2)  Stick with out a rubber or plastic cap at the end. If during a stick check or during the game you see a player with a stick that does not have a rubber or plastic cap at the end. Warn that player that he must put a rubber or plastic cap on the end.  We are not instantly penalizing them. If it is during  a stick check, do not give that player a 1 or 3 minute penalty (unless you feel that it is used to gain an advantage).  This is for both NFHS and NCAA/prep school games.

Rule clarification for 4.15 from Randy

Important. Be sure to read Randy’s latest update on rule 4.15

In short, only a ball intentionally directed towards a player in the defensive half triggers a “get it in” call.  A flubbed pass, kicked ball intended for another player or bounced shot will not trigger “get it in”.  This is a more generous interpretation than what was stated at the meeting.  Be sure to read the entire post before showing up at your first game.
